Description:symmetric grouped uniform flat topped warty 3-4 mm papules
Comments:This 26-year-old man developed numerous scaly, skin coloured, flat verrucuous papules on the dorsal aspect of fingers over 10 years. A skin biopsy revealed the typical change of acrokeratosis verruciformis (AV). AV, first described by Hopf in 1931, is a rare genetic disorder transmitted as autosomal dominant trait. Histopathological features include marked hyperkeratosis, hypergranulosis, acanthosis and charactereistic papillamatosis with epidermal elevations resembling church spires.
