Description:widespread confluent red patches covered with greasy scales
Comments:This 17-year-old girl developed multiple petaloid red patches covered with greasy scales on her scalp, forehead, eyebrows, ears, neck, and upper back and chest associated with minimal itching and burning. The patches waxed and waned for 3 years. Seborrheic dermatitis is a papulosquamous disease of unknown etiology affecting the sebum rich areas of the body.
