Description: symmetric discrete and confluent red to violaceous 0.5-2.0 cm plaques
Comments: This 4-year-old boy developed unilateral cervical lymphadenopathy, nonpurulent conjunctivitis, erythema and edema of the hands and feet, red dry fissured lips, and target lesions on the legs. He looked ill and had a fever for a week which was unresponsive to antipyretics. He improve dramatically with intravenous immunoglobulin. Incidentally he had a small copngenital pigmented nevus on the left knee.
