Multiple angiofibromas on her face and small areas in the collagenomas on her forehead, left arm, and chest were treated with the Q-switched alexandrite laser at 14 J/cm2, 10 Hz, and spot size 2 mm. cooling device at level 3. It had the clinical characteristics of a hemangioma, and ultrasound confirmed this. He started on propranolol 0.5 mg/kg/day in 3 divided doses. One day later the dose was incresed to 1 mg/kg/day, and the next day it was increased to 2 mg/kg/day. Images 1-3 were taken before initiating therap, 4,5 were taken 24 hours afer initiation of the propranolol, and images 7-9 were taken 2 days later after completing 24 hours at 2 mg/kg/day. | ||||
