| Comments: | This 40 year old female developed a papulosquamous eruption beginning on her trunk and spreading to all four extremities. She recently had a streptococcal infection, treated with antibiotics. This is a classic history and histology for guttate psoriasis. The histologic (and clinical) differential diagnosis often includes pityriasis rosea. Helpful features of psoriasis are the presence of neutrophilic aggregates in the superficial epidermis and foci typical for psoriasis vulgaris. | ||||
