Specifically, she experienced tearing and sweating as well as conjunctival injection and lip swelling. These episodes occurred intermittently 45 minutes after sun and heat exposure and emotional upset. She was healthy without a history of trauma, antecedent infection, or medical illness. A magnetic resonance imaging study of the brain and sympathetic chain of the neck was normal. | ||||
