| Comments: | This 31-year-old woman had a 2 year history of male pattern growth of terminal hair on her face, chest, and areolae. Hormonal assays showed increased levels of total testosterone and dehydroepiandrosterone and the abdominal ultrasound revealed changes typical of polycystic ovaries. She was treated with long term oral birth control pills (Diane 35). | ||||
