| Comments: | This healthy 13-year-old boy developed a pruritic red papular eruption around the right eye which spread rapidly over the right side of the face. He was well without fever, and remembered playing in the woods the day before the lesions started. A complete blood count was normal, and a computed tomogram of the head showed edema of the soft tissues of the face but no involvement of the orbit. He improved dramatically within 2 days with oral prednisone. | ||||
