Hormonal assays showed increased levels of total testosterone and dehydroepiandrosterone and the abdominal ultrasound revealed changes typical of polycystic ovaries. She was treated with long term oral birth control pills (Diane 35).

	*Comments:*	A 27 year old woman developed chronic follicular papules and pustules after she began shaving coarse terminal hair on her cheeks. She was well without signs of hyperandrogenism, and other women in her family including her mother had prominent facial hair.
