| Description: | cool purple tender toes | ||||
| Comments: | This 12 year old girl complained of exquisitely tender swollen right middle toes for 4 months. Pain did not worsen or improve with cold or heat exposure or administration of analgesics or peripheral vascular dilators. All four extremities were somewhat cool and cyanotic on examination. A thorough history, medical examination, and laboratory evaluation were normal. | ||||
