A cervical culture grew Neissereia gonorrhea, and she was treated with parenteral antibiotics with clearing of the pustule, cervical infection, and joint symtpoms. A paucity of tender cutaneous lesions on the distal extremities associated with cervical infection, tenosynovitis, and pelvic inflammatory disease symptoms is typical of gonococcemia. | ||||
