	*Comments:*	This 38-year-old man had multiple, varying-sized, round and oval as well as annular, erythematous, indurated plaques distributed symmetrically over his trunk and extremities. These asymptomatic lesions developed insidiously over 5 months. There was no nerve thickening and the lesions were sensitive to touch and pain. No other signs or symptoms were present besides the cutaneous changes. A smear revealed numerous acid-fast bacilli. A diagnosis of borderline lepromatous leprosy was made, and the patient responded well to multidrug therapy (multibacillary regimen).

	*Comments:*	This 42-year-old man demonstrates the complications of neglected borderline tuberculoid leprosy. Recurrent reactions in this untreated patient led to paralysis of his right hand resulting in clawing and atrophy of hand muscles. Trophic ulcers and gangrene of the middle and ring fingers required amputation.

	*Comments:*	This 28-year-old woman had an erythematous, well defined, oval dry and hairless plaque on her left leg for 6 months. The lesion was insensitive to touch and pin-prick, and a smear obtained for acid fast bacteria was negative. Six months of multidrug therapy (pauci-bacillary regimen) led to substantial regression of the lesion.
