Description: 1 X 0.6 cm brown plaque studded with multiple tiny black papules
Comments: This dark pigmented lesion on the right second toe was initially diagnosed as a melanoma. On closer observation with magnification and dermoscopy, it was apparent that this was a traumatized nevus. Biopsy revealed an innocent compound pigmented nevus with hemorrhage.

Comments: This 5-month-old was covered with scaly papules and pustules with most prominent involvement of the feet. Her mother had similar lesions with generalized excoriations. Note that many of the papules and pustules are elongated typical of burrows. This case was prepared by University of Mississippi year 4 medical student Yakeyla Nave.

Comments: This child's mother noticed these asymptomatic pearly papules on this 6-year-old girl's toe while she was giving her a bath. The mother mistook them for vesicles and tried to pop them unsuccessfully.
