| Comments: | This dark pigmented lesion on the right second toe was initially diagnosed as a melanoma. On closer observation with magnification and dermoscopy, it was apparent that this was a traumatized nevus. Biopsy revealed an innocent compound pigmented nevus with hemorrhage. | ||||
