| Comments: | This healthy 4 year old girl with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis developed a fever associated with widespread clusters of uniform 2-3 mm vesicles and crusts on the face. A viral culture grew Herpes simplex, and the rash cleared with a 7 day course of oral acyclovir. Note that there was no involvement of the conjunctivae. | ||||
