This 32-year-old man with a history of childhood varicella developed clustered discrete and confluent 1-3 mm vesicles on the left chest chest which spread to the left flank and back. He was a known Human Immunodeficiency virus patient and started on antiretroviral therapy and valacyclovir for HIV and shingles, respectively.
