Comments

This 35-year-old young man was hospitalised for abdominal pain of short duration and was sharing a room with another patient who kept the light on for the night. In the middle of the night he crushed an insect which he felt on the inside of his night shirt. The next day morning he noticed intense irrtitation and blister formation which blossomed over the subsequent day. The area near his axilla was treated with cold tap water compresses and oral antihistamines initally and later with a topical steroid and gentamicin cream.
