Comments

This healthy 6-month-old girl had a scalp hemangioma with fine vellus hair and no evidence of scarring. The hemangioma was subtle at birth and grew quickly for 2 months into a bright red flat topped plaque. It grew little after 3 months of age and recently became pale red in the center. There was no hair for several months, but vellus hairs appeared within the last month.
