Comments

This 7 year old girl demonstrates the swirled hyperpigmentation on the trunk and extremities typical of incontinentia pigmenti. Shortly after birth she developed linear urticarial papules and blisters, and a skin biopsy showed eosinophilic spongiosis in the epidermis. She has no serious complications from her disorder and continues to grow and develop normally.
