When he was 13 years old this 41-year-old man developed hidradenitis suppurativa with involvement of the perineum, perianal area, groin, and axillae. The hidradenitis was complicated by rectal abscesses and anal fistulas. Treatments included multiple excisional surgeries, multiple oral and topical antibiotics and oral pain medications.
