Comments

This 57-year-old man was evaluated for a 4 month history of tender indurated plaques on the upper arms. He started with a small lump on the right upper arm. Followed by the development of multiple lesions. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed edema of the fat and fascial planes overlying the triceps. Histologic and clinical findings demonstrated overlapping features of lupus, eosinophilic fasciitis and eosinophilic fasciitis.
