Comments

A 10-year-old girl was evaluated for a flesh colored soft compressible nodules on her right heel. They became more apparent when she placed weight on the heel and disappeared when she lifted her foot. These lesions, which are usually asymptomatic but occasionally painful, probably represent herniations of fat through congenital or acquired defects in the connective tissue of the heel. Lesions may be seen in up to a third of patients with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
