Comments

This 4-month-old girl presented with bilateral appendages laterl to the fifth digits of her hands. The histology is typical in this case, and could mimic a traumatic neuroma without the good history for an accessory digit. A skin tag is in the differential diagnosis but should not contain the nerve bundles.

Description

There is a polypoid lesion with a stalk on acral skin. There are eccrine structures but no follicles. The stroma is loose with a haphazard arrray of small-caliber nerve bundles.
