This 33-year-old man with male pattern hair loss had 2 sessions of follicular unit hair transplants. A wave appeared after the second transplant for the first time in 20 years. The followup image was taken after 2 hair replacement ssessions totalling over 4,500 unit growths. He was a Norwood Class 6 with very fine, blonde hair and a donor density of 2.5 hairs/mm2 and very low hair volume on the sides due to his very fine hair.
