A 9-day-old girl developed 10 flaccid bullae on her neck and arms. The bullae ruptured leaving erosions and yellow crusts. A culture revealed methicillin sensitive Staphylococcus aureus.

Description

9 day old girl with acute onset of 5-10 bullae on arm and neck. Bullae ruptured leaving shallow ulceration, exuding yellow fluid. Sterile needle aspiration revealed methicillin sensitive Staph aureus on Gram stain and culture.
