A 60-year-old woman developed multiple subcutaneous nodules and abscesses on her right hand and forearm 7 days after cutting her finger on an orange tree prickle. The first lesions appeared on her right third finger and them spread along her hand and forearm. She subsequently after 4 months of treatment with oral potassium iodide.
