This 26-year-old man developed a dry itchy patch on the penis 2 years ago. In addition to the glans penis muliple finger nails were involved with pitting and longitudinal ridges. His screen for sexually transmitted infection was negative. Although the eruption cleared with the application of topical hydrocortisone 1 percent cream, it recurred 3 weeks later.
