Comments

This 23-year-old man complained of intermittent fevers and multiple painful ulcers on the scrotum and palate for 3 months. He had a history of painful nodular lesions of both shins which healed with scars. He had normal vision and a normal eye examination. He developed putsules at the sites of needle sticks consistent with pathergy. A biopsy of a scrotal ulcer showed granulomatous vasculitis of superficial arterioles suggestive of Bechets disease. The lesions improved in several weeks with colchicine 25 mg twice a day.
