Comments

This 9-year-old boy developed a slowly progressive nontender mass on the upper left arm over a year ago following a bee sting to the area. The lesion transilluminated with a flash light, and over 30 cc's of serous fluid was extracted through a small hole in the center of the lesion. The mass was shaved at the base which healed ineventfully with a cosmetically acceptable scar. The biopsy revealed a lymphatic telangiectasia with a pilomatrixoma embedded at the base.
