Comments

This heatlhy 3-month-old boy developed a 3 cm tumor on his back a month ago. The overling skin was ulcerated and healed over 2 weeks with the use of a hydrophilic dressing. Skin biopsy showed a xanthogranuloma. He had no other nodules or tumors, no organomegaly, and no adenopathy. The surrounding pustules resolved within a few days of starting therapy with oral clinidamycin.
