Comments

This healthy 9-month-old girl had a hairless crusted atrophic plaque on her scalp at birth. An eye examination and a screening ultrasound of the head was normal. The patient continued to grow and develop normally, and the child was referred to pediatric plastic surgery for evaluation. Her hair camoflaged the area quite well.
