Comments

A 3-year-old boy was evaluated for round patches of nonscarring hair loss over the entire body. He achieved some scalp hair regrowth with the daily application of fluocinonide 0.05% ointment and minoxidil 5% solution over 4 months. Note the closed comedones scattered over the scalp consistent with steroid-induced acne.
