An 82-year-old woman was evaluated for this longstanding and slowly enlarging superficial crusted red patch on her back. The diagnosis of superficial basal cell carcinoma was confirmed histologically, the lesions was treated successfully with imiquimod cream daily for 8 hours 5 days a week for a total of 6 weeks.
