This youg woman developed tender red bullae in her left axilla that ruptured leaving superficial crusts. She also had evidence of scarring from old recurrent boils typical of hidradenitis that involved both axillae. She improved in 7-10 days on oral dicloxacillin.

Description

This woman presented with tender red scaling vesiculopustular lesions of the left axilla. These previously bullous lesions burst and were flaccid by the time this photo was taken. She improved rapidly on dicloxacillin.
