Comments

This elderly woman with chronic renal failure had been on dialysis for two years before developing these acral blood filled blisters. Her blood porphyrins were mildly elevated. She was also taking ibuprofen. Her diagnosis was thought to be bullous disease of dialysis which is sometimes also described as pseudoporphyria.
