Comments

This 6 year old boy developed an eruption of widely distributed, puritic,papulovesicular lesions involving his scalp, face, trunk , and proximal limbs. The eruption was preceded by a few days of fever and flu-like symptoms. New crops of papules appeared for 3 days and rapidly became vesicular before crusting and healing over 7 days. He was able to return to school 10 days after the onset of symptoms.
