This newborn had a large mass protruding from his mouth and involving his tongue, flloor of the mouth, gingiva, and vermillion border. Biopsy revealed a benign teratoma.

Description

large oral mass oral cavity with distorted lower lip and soft tissue on the right side. CT revealed a polypoidal mass arising from the pretonsilar region involving the maxilla, mandible and surrounding soft tissue. Surface of the mass covered with hair. Consistency was variegated. Biopsy from the lesion revealed a benign teratoma.
