Comments

Hyperpigmented well demarcated scaly papules typical of tinea versicolor were present for months on the upper chest of this 11 year old boy. A KOH preparation demonstrated "spaghetti and meatballs" typical of pityrosporum infection. He responded well to topical selenium 2.5 percent lotion. See related image for view of back.
