This healthy 10-year-old boy had a 5 year history of grandually darkening nails. His growth and development were normal, and he was on no chronic medication. The nails were not brittle or dystrophic. This case was prepared by Mark Helrung, a fourth year medican student at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine.

Description

Five year history of darkening nails. Parent noted some linear darkening of all nails and that the nails grow very slowly, but do not seem fragile. The child is healthy with average growth parameters. Case prepared by Mark Helrung, M-4 at Univ of Mississippi School of Medicine.
