This 17-year-old girl presented with multiple petaloid, confluent, red patches covered with greasy scales on her scalp, forehead, eyebrows, postauricular skin, posterior neck and upper torso associated with mild burning and itching over the affected areas. Her condiition was characterized by relapses and remissions for years and, particularly, with spring exacerbations. Her pruritus was minimal, but she probably had an atopic component.
