A 50-year-old man developed a recurrent firm nodular swelling in the right anterior axilalry fold one year after a similar lesion was excised from the same area. The lesion was fixed to the overlying soft tissue. There was no local adenopathy and a chest x-ray was normal. and chest X-ray was normal. Fine needle aspirate cytology yeilded sheets of spindle cells with mildly pleomorphic nuclei. Normal scattered adipocytes were also noted. The tumor was reexcised and histological findings showed typical features of dermatofiborsacrcoma protuberans.
