This adolescent boy developed a tense 3 cm bulla on the left sole at the base of the great toe while on oral trimethoprin/sulfamethoxazole for treatment of a urinary tract infection. Then lesion resolved when the medication was discontinued leaving a patch of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
