Comments

This preshooler demonstrates recurrent bullae in various stages of healing on her her feet. Although she occasionally developed bullae on the trunk, most of her lesions were restricted to her hands and feet like her younger sister and father. Electron microscopy examination of skin from her father showed decreased number of abnormal hemidesmosomes consistent with junctional epidermolysis bullosa.
