Comments

A 20-year-old woman complained fo a slowly growing swelling on the left shoulder for 2years. On examination the mass was soft, non-tender, and not attached to deeper structures. A small punctum was noted on the surface. Fine needle aspirate cytology yeilded gray white material which showed benign squamous cells without inflammatory cells consistent with an epidermoid cyst.

Description

Panel-A shows the tumor after excision, Panel-B shows the tumor after bisection, and Panel-C is a photomicrograph that shows the cyst lumen on the bottom and the overlying epidermis on the top.
