A healthy 15 month old boy developed a symmetric red edematous papular eruption several days after experiencing and episode of low grade fever and diarrhea. The rash involved the extensor surfaces of the arms and legs, buttocks and cheeks. Lesions resolved without treatment 6 weeks later.
