This 7-year-old girl with scabies developed a widespread secondary bacterial infection with confluent acute eczematous patches and plaques. She was treated with anti-Staphylococcal antibiotics, local wound care, and eventually permethrin 5 percent cream with clearing of the bacterial infection as well as the scabies infestation.
