This 63-year-old man developed chronic slowly progressive purple nodules on the right arm 3 months ago. A skin biopsy shows a normal epidermis overlying masses of back to back vascular spaces with foci of spindle cells. Extravasated red blood cells and hemosiderin deposits are also seen. No atypical mitoses were detected. CD 34 and CD 31 were positive
