Comments

This 45-year-old woman sought treatment for symmetric yellowish thickening of her palms and soles with persistent callosities associated with cracking and painful fissuring. Her father and siblings had similar lesions that were only minimally symptomatic. She improved with topical mupirocin on the crusted fissures followed by a topical keratolytic 10 percent Salicylic acid and emolients for the hyperkeratosis.
