This 83-year-old man developed a widespread eruption which revealed Langerhans cell histiocytosis on skin biopsy. He failed to respond to 6 weeks of PUVA (psoralen with ultraviolet A light) phototherapy and refused to other options. Six months later the lesions resolved without therapy.
