At birth this infant was noted to be wasted with diffuse lipoatrophy, dysmorphic facies, prominent low set ears, relatively large hands and feet with long toes and fingers, and generalized livedo. The parents were related and did not seek further consultation. Although the diagnosis was unclear a congenital lipodystrophy was suspected.
