Comments

A 17-year-old boy had a slowly growing mass on the back of his neck for 5 years. Examination revealed a soft spongy 7 cm mass with well defined slippery borders situated at the nape of the neck. Skin over the swelling appeared normal and was pinchable. Fine needle aspiration cytology showed clusters of mature adipocytes in an oily background. There were no lipoblasts. Cytological features were suggestive of Lipoma. This was confirmed by histopathological examination of the excised specimen.
